More Summer ML Training

3rd week, 3rd ML summer training course and the sun still keeps shinning. Off the beaten track today putting navigation skills to the test.

ML ML ML- Last week we ran a full Summer Mountain Leader Training course in the glorious sun. This week another full MLT course has the sun, I wonder what next weeks MLT course will bring. Sun ?

The sun does really shine in North Wales

It is a busy time at the centre and we are all really loving this weather. Over the weekend we had a secondary school using White Peris and undergoing their rock climbing syllabus. 

Sunday evening a group of HR apprentices started their course and our Summer Mountain Leader starts today. Phew !!

A look back over the last 3 days of our outdoor education and field study course.

The days the students collected their data for the river and town study I am afraid to say the weather was not kind to them.  However they had sun for the adventure / outdoor education part of their stay.

Outdoor Education and Field Studies is on the menu this week. Day 1 and the groups certainly enjoyed the glorious weather. Having witnessed first hand glaciation is makes the learning much more easy.

Yes we told you there were spiders

Who wishes to go caving, its very dark, narrow, there are spiders, it is wet and you will undertake lots of abseils. 4 hands shot up very quickly and there we had our group. 4 year 9 girls and no lads in sight.

What a blast we all had in Fish Caves Sol and Mark the Blue Peris instructors, a teacher and the 4 year 9 pupils. Mr C an ex teacher of the school you would have loved it !

Such an amazing experience, 

Winter Education

When it comes to learning outside the classroom, Blue Peris can carry this out with style.  There are limited organisations within the UK that can offer this type of experience for school pupils.
