Gorgeous

So today our groups went to Afon Ddu gorge

Leg day X 2

After a busy day on a busy mountain yesterday weary legs were put to the test and everyone passed with flying colours and a speed ascent of the gorge!

Squeeze!

After learning the ropes from the instructors the groups were put to work on their aim of  'understanding the dynamics of a team.'
The groups learned from the instructors about risk management and how to protect others and yourself in the gorge and the were asked to lead their peers up small sections under the watchful eye of an instructor. After the sections the group reviewed their class mates leadership and a new leader was chosen.

Big smiles in the Afon Ddu

This wasn't the only aim to be worked on today though as they were also here to push themselves out of their comfort zone. This was definitely achieved through all the waterfalls, slides and plunge pools the groups literally threw themselves into!

Shower time!

A great effort from all the students rewarded with ice cream in the rain! Well it is north Wales after all
Camera Trickery?
